SEVENTH ANNUAL
LAGUNA BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL
January 18th -January 25th,
2008
Dedicated to artistic excellence and innovation, each Festival stars an internationally acclaimed Mentor Musician or Ensemble along with other talented artists in a weeklong blend of performances and education.
The Festival offers the unique occasion for gifted young musicians to study with the Mentor in residency, while the public has the rare opportunity to observe these stars of tomorrow as they hone their technique and expression. Enjoy special performances by the master and pupils in the Festival’s intimate settings.
Past Festival Mentor Musicians have included world-class pianists Claude Frank, Bruno Canino and Christopher O'Riley, double bassist Edgar Meyer, The Ahn Trio, Turtle Island String Quartet and cellist Lynn Harrell.
