Diane Challis Davy, a Laguna Beach High School graduate with a degree from Cal Arts in costume design, has been director of the Pageant of the Masters for the past fourteen years, a unique production which attracts national and international visitors every summer in Laguna Beach California. www.foapom.com.

Born in Italy, Patrizia Didiomete lives and works in Canada, the palate of colors in her acrylic paintings reveals dynamic images and forms. Canvases move from a contemporary feel to a timeless past in landscape and figure motifs. Patti’s work and art are motivated by a strong desire and commitment of self reflection, growth and communication. This process of “looking in” and “reaching out” are values expressed through a variety of mediums. Patrizia Didiomete, Paloma - Named after Picasso’s daughter, Patti’s cello is six feet tall, painted in bright acrylic colors and has added wooden angles to “round out” her figure. A stunning piece certain to catch the eye of all who behold her.Patti's art is represented by JoAnne Artman Gallery in Laguna. California born Roark Gourley is a Laguna artist whose works have been shown in the Smithsonian Museum and around the world. Awarded an Honorary Life Time Membership in both Festival of Arts and Sawdust Festival, Gourley’s subject is mostly humorous because he thinks the world is serious enough already. He is expanding his work into the new multimedia cyberspace which is changing the way we will live forever. www.coolsville.com.

Roark Gourley, Pollock Cello Using the splatter technique of Jackson Pollock in bright colors on a shiny black finish, Roark was also inspired by his wife and daughter—both of whom play the cello. In honor of them, he made sure his creation would still function as a musical instrument. Current bid is $500

Jacquie Moffett is a shining example of today's "total woman" concept. Wife, mother, and homemaker in her artfully decorated, gallery-like home, she is recognized as an organizer, actress and artist. jacquie is a life member of the Festival of ARts and has been an exhibitor there for the 42 yeares. His classical drawing and painting education has been a launching point for producing non-representational imagery as an "an attempt to map the subconscious flutters of the mind."

Philip Womack, I Heart Cello This work is "a product of being enamored with the concurrence of memory and the present, the persistence of images, and the subsequent awareness of Now- a sort of visual diary becomes a necessity."  As memory creates layers of history, so Womack's paintings record a dialogue of time spent in the studio.  Viewers are not asked to decode the work, but instead bring their own signature history and personality to complete the "trialogue" between creator, creation, and observer.
